Instagram strategy - Social media

We may not need to tell you anymore, but we will do it anyway. Social media is very important to use for your company. 


You build a network with this that you could not build in 'real-life'. But of course, you have to do something for this, because followers do not just get. We help you a bit through do's & don'ts!

But first…

Sit down with a pen and paper. Think about what you want to achieve by using social media for your company and write it down. What do you want to deliver? Also, ask yourself which platform you want to enable. 

This can, of course, be several. But now we focus on Instagram. Let's set up your Instagram strategy together!

DO'S

The right audience

We start by addressing the right target group. Don't have it yet? Here you can read about how to envision your target group. 

If your target group is young female entrepreneurs, it is of course not the intention that you approach housewives with your content, for example. But how? Hashtags! Collect hashtags and investigate whether they appeal to the right target group. 

It is also important to create different lists of hashtags. If you place the same hashtags under each photo, they will become 'old' and you will no longer attract new followers.

Recognizability

DONT'S

Ignore negativity

Okay, let's face it: negativity is never fun. Of course, you want everyone to love your company and be enthusiastic about it. Unfortunately, this is not reality. 

But don't ignore that negativity! Try to respond positively and explain why something is the case or why you do it that way. However, you come across this way and stand your ground for your company. 

The person will appreciate it and so maybe appreciate your company more and that's what you want, right?

Neglect your business page

You started to reach a goal, did you reach that goal? Set a new goal for yourself! But never leave it at that. This also applies the same for your company page. Try to post a lot, preferably five days a week. 

You will see that many followers will appreciate this and that you will also get many followers. Don't let it water down! A good way to prevent this is to start planning the post, so far as you think you need it. You can do this in Panoply, for example. 

Another advantage of this is that you are in a good flow and give more quality to your posts. Also useful is that you see your feed in advance, does it all fit together?

Do not follow people for following

Having many followers is secretly what we all want as entrepreneurs. But don't just follow people with the hope that they will follow you back. Of course, you can do this if you are interested in someone who also fits among your followers because perhaps this person will follow you back.
